Flight of the Eagle @ Kruger
Flight of the Eagle @ Kruger is a beautiful family home – planned and executed with love, hard work and dedication. A self-catering home only a few steps away from the Crocodile River. The river borders to the Kruger National Park. You really do not need to go anywhere to do game viewing, what does not come to your doorstep, you can view from the lookout point. No need to drive to go and try to spot the Big five, walk to the fence and you chances are pretty good. Lions have been spotted daily over the past month.
It is ideal as a good base for Kruger National Park trips!
The entrance gate to Kruger Park is a mere 15 minute drive away. When not making a fire and having a real traditional South African braai, you will find several restaurants keep the hunger pains away. The environment is quiet and allows for a very relaxing weekend or long stay.
The house consist of 2 en-suite bedrooms – (accommodating 4 adult guests and 2 small children comfortably), with quality bedding and bath towels.
A large open plan lounge – quality leather couches for ultra-comfort in relaxing, Satellite TV, dining and kitchen area. Separate scullery. The fully stocked kitchen is every women’s dream,
6 plate gas/electric stove and double door fridge/freezer!
The entertaining area is elevated and has a great view right up to the horizon of Kruger National Park. Early mornings and late afternoons bring a mass of birds to sit and enjoy right there in the comfort of the porch. Frequent visitors are warthog, zebra, wildebeest, impala, bush buck, kudu, giraffe and many more..... Night visitors include the bush babies, civet, gannet, and certainly some of the day visitors as well. Treating them with animal pallets and bird seed, available from the local store, Daisies Den, in Marloth will ensure you get more visitors.
